When you come-up Eastcoast italian-Ameican, singing is akin to well,  “like Riding a Bike”…and for me, what’a ride it’s been.I’ve a lifelong attachment to the music and words of these great songs that Frank himself created, but now it’s my turn to ride. It’s not at all that I want to be him or think that I am, it’s that I feel a need, a cultural and artistic drive  to carry his legacy to new audiences.  My approach is very different from imitation or just wanting to perform his hits, but to get within the center-pages of his book to songs that are seldom heard anymore, the ones that somehow reveal the magic and lasting memory that is Sinatra. It’s been a ride that’s  led me to rethink, rework and in some cases re-orchestrate…all the while not ever upending the brilliance of the original master-class performance.
